The Kh-47 Kinzhal (\u201cDagger\u201d) missile, which can be seen on the MiG\u2019s belly, has an estimated range of 1,240 miles. The missile is capable of carrying either a 1,100-pound fragmentation warhead or a 500-kiloton nuclear warhead, which is 33 times more powerful than the Fat Man bomb used on Hiroshima. The Kh-47M2 Kinzhal (“dagger”) is a nuclear-capable air-launched ballistic missile (ALBM).
